I guess there's still a basement to demolish too since they'd be going deeper.
Bit of a strange concept - I wonder how the side walls will be taken down (I guess shotcreting the earth behind as the old foundation wall is removed?).

I walked by today and the whole parkade is now gone. Looks so empty and odd right now.

I wonder if those blue bars depicted are LEDs. I don't remember hearing about any proposed lighting feature.

I've definitely never seen that render. Wow you're not kidding, so awkward. It looks even more leany than before I like it though.

^I think the other rendering on that webpage is a more accurate depiction of how it will look.

MCMP probably included that distorted rendering to show they can design something other than a square box...

That render looks highly exaggerated - the photos of the model give a much better idea of the actual proportions.

I recall hearing something about a lighting feature on Thurlow, but I don't think the design was finalized. The LEDs shown may just be a placeholder.
