Nice to see you've started a city. I see similarities to the start of a certain long-lived Sketchup city. Keep it up! And also try what it does to the looks of the city, if you add some lowrises in the mix and make the skyline a bit more spacious, if you know what I mean.

Billboards - and any text for that matter - allways add to the realism of a city, so good job!

When you model buildings, do you consider the use of the building beforehand? Like "this is going to be an office building, this is going to be an aparment building etc." and then model the building according to its use. The use of the building also affects the building's location in the city. These are just some things you might want to consider, when making your way towards a realistic city model.

Keep those updates coming!

Keep it coming with the details such as the billboards and maybe make other structures to add to the realism such as monuments...I guess. Looks great so far.

The building in the last shot looks very interesting and should give a great landmark. I would consider making the crown symmetrical, though. It looks a a bit awkward now.

Your highrises look good, but to make the city look more interesting, you could try to add some lowrises and also maybe some older buildings. All those buildings look quite postmodern now, so you could try to find some textures of buildings of other architectural style.

i love your constructive critisim. I swear you will make me a better Sketchuper lol.

Anway a update.....

A new Building:

The West Wilson BIC Chruch.

The West Wilson BIC Church was built on 1895 and is one of the oldest chruchest in the downtown area of Tennington. It was first used as a school house but then in 1904 it was used as a BIC Church. the chrcuh was built by Peter Samson and took 3 years to build. It took so long to build becasue of the huge recession of 1891-1900.

In 1961 huge renavations were made because the church was being torn down due becuase it was abanded. In 1963 the renavations were done and the church was back up to the people. Today the chruch is a wonder in the eEast coast of the United States.

Hope you like the history.

Also in the next week I will show you a map because I finished the buisness area.

EDIT i am also making new buildings and making them more art deco and older.
