This is absolutely going in the right direction. I really like the effort you put in the backround of this city and way you think about what different districts there will be and how they function and stuff like that. Good planning is one of the key factors in making a believable fictional city.

There’s also some really good building designs there. I especially like TellComm HQ and also the “another building in Winsdor District”.

I'll be excited to see the Port district start to emerge. It seems like every city has a certain undesirable residential area that borders the industrial area. In any case, if you throw in some nastier urban areas they have a way of helping accent the nicer regions, providing context and realism. Of course, I'm not saying that I want your citizens to suffer or live in squalor. ;-) Keep up the good work.

Looking good! Maybe the shoreline needs a bit landscaping and terraforming at some point.

Thanks Vellu!

A start on Manheim District. I know, it doesn't look seem like I'm basing the district off of Soho But I didn't add all the facade and the stairways yet. After I completly finish a 3 or 4 buildings in this district it'll start to look like Soho.

The start on Manheim District:

Those are NOT all the blocks in the Manheim District.

Your buildings are getting better and better. They have many interesting details that draw the viewers eye.

I'd like to see a ground level shot from the park at the tip of the peninsula.

Good work.

I think after you finish the peninsula, you've got two pretty big options (This is something I've been thinking about concerning my project long term, anyway).

You can extend the land back and start working on the rest of the city and/or metro area (I think that would be cool) or you can go back through your existing work and add more detail to what is already there. The question here is whether you want to end up with a small, super-detailed piece of city (the peninsula) or if you want to end up with a huge (but more generally detailed) metropolis.

If I was expanding out, the first thing I would do is lay the groundwork for an interstate spur route into downtown, and start laying out low density residential grid a little ways out. It isn't glamorous, but every city has them: block after block of houses with yards.

Agreed, u definitely need low rise housing, but don't let us influence you too much, its your city. I'm impressed in how you're modelling and texturing has improved since just a few months ago, keep it up Flamesule!

I like this a lot - it's merited a comment from me on here, something I seldom do unless I find the city/ model is a work of genius. I like the way it reminds me of the early Flight Simulator games =]

City looks really good from the park.

I agree with everyone else, you need some low rise housing. And industrial areas too.

Now after thinking I'll build low rise housing outside the peninsula.

Finished the 2nd block and starting the 3rd block

Also started the port and industry area.(yes!)

Also I know the texture isn't fitted right but you know this is the industry area right?
