Yes, is this under construction? Also, please post more than a link to another website.

Harbor East is cool. It's one of the better large urban developments I've seen.

But can anybody tell me why the streets are so dead? Is there nobody living in those units?

Not Really U/C Just Yet

Its not really Under Construction. They're just doing the 4-5 Underground Parking Garages right now.I Consider UNDER CONSTRUCTION as when you Actually See something popping out of the Ground! Not a big a huge hole.Real Construction should BEGIN from Mid-December to Mid January and Construction should finish in Late 2009!So in 2-3 months, you guys will see something actually popping out of the whole!2-3 Months will go by flying so dont take this as a long time!

We DEFINITELY Need more updated pictures of the construction going on of the parking levels. Can anyone get another aerial shot of the site like that last shot from the top of the Vue Harbor East?Speaking of that..how did they manage to get shot of the construction site from the top of Vue Harbor East?Is there cameras up that high?

Something I Dont Understand

How are they going to fit 2 skyscrapers that big into that small spot.I Mean walking around the sites may seem like it takes forever but seeing the amount of space and the renderings of these towers,it seems pretty much to me that these 2 towers are going to be tightly packed together.I Mean the construction sites for these 2 towers was a former parking lot and it seems like its going to be a hard job fitting those 2 buildings into that tightly packed parking lot.Just My Opinion

Here are a couple shots I took the day before Thanksgiving while I was near Harborplace. I work downtown from time to time doing construction, so I may be able to give updated shots on occasion.

This was the best angle I could get with the time I had. It appears that the shorter tower (Legg Mason Tower) is progressing faster, with the cladding up about 10-12 floors.

My company is actually working on these buildings, so it is possible I will be on the job at some point in the future.

I thought I read in SSC that the Four Seasons will be shorter for the mean time. When the market warrants, the rest will be added onto.

Can you provide a link? Although you said its from SSC, providing a substantial link proving your statement would help.

Here are additional renderings:

Here's the most recent pics from March 12th. Legg Mason tower t/o.

The Legg Mason building has been done since mid-summer. It looks really nice. Blind Guardian or maybe another should if you can post some pics. Very nice building. Hopefully in 2010 they will start to finish the Four Seasons part of it. It will be the 3rd tallest building in Baltimore at 494 ft. (1. 100 Light St. (old Legg Mason) 529 ft., 2. Bank of America Building- 509 ft.)
