Well, the sales centre is now gone!
Also, I would says excavation has officially begun, as they are applying shotcrete to the walls of the pits now.

They have removed the lane that was going through the site, and the pit is getting quite deep now, at least in the north west corner. Lots of shotcrete can be seen along the wall of it.

There has been a lot of excavation and the lane is gone. a new gravel ramp into the north west corner of the site has been built, and the whole site it basically a series of pits and dirt piles. The western side has shotcrete to hold up the walls in places.

Just passed by today on my way to school and they are excavating fast. I think they are around 25-30 feet down already on the section of the site next to Kings Way. Lots of activity this morning.

It's really deep. 4+ Floors? I'm not a very good judge.

haha sorry, I meant more along the lines of "how far down is the excavation going to be when completed" cause I figure it shouldn't be too long before concrete starts pouring.

I think he meant that the pit will be 4+ floors deep when it's completed. I'm assuming that the pit will be somewhere around 60-70 feet down because of the size of the building. As for the concrete, I'd say that they are still 3 weeks away from pouring any sort of serious concrete for the foundation.

This tower will actually be taller than the One Wall Centre minus the spire. Even with the Spire it is only 1 meter shorter.

Sure is going to be a great addition to the neighbourhood.

I sleep during the day as I work graveyards, and so far the noise hasn't been an issue at all, which is great as I live a block away.

Once they get out the hammers and start working away on the foundation and everything I'm sure you will hear quite a bit.
