Great photos of one of my favorite cities. I visited in summer 2012, but still have not posted my photos on this site.

Thanks for your pics of Shanghai, pallo!

First one, from Shanghai World Financial Center, is amazing. I notice much pollution, it´s a pity in such an attractive metropolis, but sometimes is the high price people must pay living in so large cities.

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain!

' I notice much pollution, it´s a pity in such an attractive metropolis, but sometimes is the high price people must pay living in so large cities.'

Or a more systematic/fundamental issue that is going to be China's largest challenge in the next decade or 2.

Car ownership growth/Coal reliance

^nice. I also enjoyed that market, although expensive compared to what you will find in the outlying areas (where almost no foreigners venture).

Shanghai has some really great older buildings. What's the neighborhood with all the temples (Assuming they're temples)? I'd love to see more of the Shanghai neighborhoods from street level. For instance, those smaller buildings among the highrises, look really interesting. I'm sure they're much more inviting than the "public housing looking" concrete monoliths surrounding them. Keep showing off, I'm enjoying the tour.

It's refreshing to see some ground level pics of this place instead of being drowned in panoramics and highrise views all the time. Love the tones in that first pic
