Yeah I was excited for that waterfront area to get fixed up and developed. It'll happen eventually but certainly not as fast as it would have with amazon.

That tower appears to be on the west side of 7th Ave, just south of Billionaire's Row.

It's basically just the Salesforce tower stretched to 600+ meters.

No they are not banned, they just cannot use steel or glass in their construction.

No, there are new environmental rules that regulate building materials.

Obviously they aren't banning glass and steel.

Wow what a beautiful design. I hope it gets built as is. Sometimes you see a render and you just know its perfect for the city, had the same feeling with 1 vanderbilt.
