Mumbai UA cityscape thread

Instead of having several threads, I will try posting photos of the Mumbai Urban Agglomeration in one thread. That way we can cover Thane and Navi Mumbai as well.

The Mill areas - with industrial activity shifting to industrial estates in smaller towns, Mumbai's mill lands are seeing a lot of construction activity.

The ITC Sheraton Towers is currently India's tallest hotel building. On the right side is the Ashok Towers which will have three 20 storey towers and one 50 storey tower.

The two tall buildings - Belvedere Court and Kalpataru Heights were the tallest residentail buildings in the city for a brief period. In the centre you can see the 51 storey Planet Godrej under construction.

The 35 storey Four Season's hotel under construction may become the tallest hotel building in the city. On the extreme right one can see the underconstruction Sheth Beaumonde towers. (these pics are eight months old).

Maybe in 2010? Hopefully a lot of skyscrapers will be completed by then, a better airport will be ready and the current construction mess will be cleaned up..

I am not sure what you meant. I am not involved in any construction projects in Mumbai or elsewhere.
