Also any word on if that front NCR lobby (with the coffee bar) will be accessible to the public?

Yes as far as I remember from a meeting they had last year the majority of the Spring lobby is open to the public, there are gates for employees that lead to a hallway that goes to the elevator lobby which is closer to the 8th st Lobby

Anyone know the likely open for business date of NCR HQ Phase One on Spring & 8th ? ( For that matter, updated delivery dates for CODA, Alexan 880, Hanover Midtown, etc)

"Projected 2018" is what is stated on Midtown Alliance website for Phase One NCR.

http://www.midtownatl.com/business/development-tour

ALEXAN 880 is stated as "Fall 2017" there and that's overly optimistic. Sure would be nice though !

Thanks for any updates, folks

Alexan: late 2018
CODA: early 2019
Hanover Midtown: Spring 2019

GaPeanuts probably knows the exact date for NCR.

Rumor is December/January when the first move-ins to the new building will start. They are already installing the granite curb at the intersection of 8th and Spring

I'm not even sure whether you're joking or not.

Perhaps you though I (maybe the OP) was talking about Hanover West Peachtree? In which case, I have no clue. At this rate, Spring 2019 seems about right lol

Ah yes, I was thinking West Peachtree.

The fact that the building isn't even dried-in is mind blowing. It's been under construction for what, 24 months?

Hanover Midtown

This project is approaching Lilli status from an architectural perspective.

Are all employees moving to the Midtown location or anyone remaining in Duluth? Asking for a friend

The northern facade is really lovely. Hopefully the (eventual) bulldogs infill will cover up that parking deck

Great project overall, but I'm not a fan of that screening either. With that many windows I think fire codes would prevent anything from being built any closer than where Bulldogs is, but at least the garage would only be visible from straight on. It looks like there might be an entrance there anyway.

They're aleady up to the fourth or fifth floor now, it's going up pretty quick.

Looks very nice. Buildings with recessed balconies tend to look better. This one would look pretty bad otherwise, I think.

Totally agree! That is a very goodlooking building and perfect for the Beltline!

Ahhh, I really hate to see the old historic Doctor's Memorial Hospital building go. That's really a nice historic structure from the late 20s.

Agreed. Don't they own several blocks of parking lots around the hospital they could develop instead?
