Wow most cities would love that skyline and it's only a suburb of Vancouver!

Yes, wow...

And that's just a slice of it. Much more outside of that image. What a great angle, obviously taken from the North Shore. And much more to come with Lougheed City, Concorde Brentwood and Gilmore, which will have Metro Vancouver's tallest... and and and. I'd love to see the same pic in another few years.

Love checking in on the defacto Burnaby thread lol. Wish there was more beauty in these skylines rather than just bulk/density. I'm glad people haven't descended to the usual apologetic spin around "filler" and "density boosts" lol.

Windsor has a few suburban skylines, most of them along the Detroit River

East to West,

Riverside

East Windsor/Pilette Village

Walkerville (Distillery and a few other buildings)

West Windsor/University (with the Ambassador Bridge)

Suburban in the background. The top of the hill is about 210 m.

It's still mostly fields but a modest skyline emerging in downtown Markham.

What is interesting about Downtown Markham is that it is almost exclusively designed by a single architect.

Burnaby really needs to do a Kingsway beautification program when this latest round of development is done, it has so much potential but looks to bad right now.

Agree 100%, but I think doing so now would be premature. With all the major projects still planned for this stretch it would just get ripped up again.

Considering all the construction activity currently along this stretch it is okay for now.
