I love that vantage point to see Trump Tower. The last two times Ive been in Chicago Ive found myself there on that elevated walkway just taking in the awesome view.

I just got back from New Orleans, so heres a couple pictures from my first night. I have better ones, but my computer just ran out of room so now Im going to have spent the rest of the day deleting crap off my computer.

Anyways.

I have a whole bunch of threads to make now. Ill do one on Cajun Country around Lafayette, the River Road and all its plantations, and another New Orleans thread. I saw almost the entire city this time, so they wont all be from the French Quarter.

On another note, god damn do I love New Orleans. I really really really hope to live there someday. Its got such an awesome vibe and the people are so nice and the girls are so beautiful. I miss so much already.

.

Bring on those threads!!First shot looks like a model and the cluttered/busystreet in the third shot is crazy looking,I can see why people "love the bones" of New Orleans.

Sydney has an ok skyline, but I can't see one building (other than the opera house) that is all that great on its own.

I love shooting in the rain. The thick drops create great moods and interesting textures. I've found hail is great for getting a sort of thick hazy look without adding much, if any, blur like fog tends to add.

Speaking of rain, Shanghai's weather has been miserable for the last couple of weeks. Cold and wet.
