A few new renderings that I haven't seen before.

Seeing as this is by far my favorite proposal for Calgary, that is great news.

One of those pix above makes this building look like a chimney. I hope they change some of this design.

I don't actually mind the chimney look. London, has the Gherkin, the grater and the walkie-talkie.....we have the Chimney

^^ I think it's something to do with the "twist" thing or something like that. Wished it was shaped more like the old First National Bank building in Chicago (1968), with Tellus's glazing & materials. Maybe someone could post a photo of that building? I don't know how to do that stuff!! ^^

I heard is that Art Central tenants were to be out after Christmas (not sure how true this is), but would imagine demo to follow shortly there after.

That sounds about right. We first heard about the evictions around January 2013, and that the tenants were told they had a year.

Not in love with this building but at least it'll be a diversion from 3EC, beings they'll be going up at the same time.

I don't want the diversion, I love this building and will cherish the construction time

The DP for Telus Sky is in.

Gross building area is 46239m2...... so about 500k sq ft. office and 310 units of residential. They're moving quickly on this one.

Stoked to hear that the DP is in. This is going to be huge for Calgary.

Telus Sky has been approved as of today. The development will include a public park on the +15 level, and over 350 rental apartments, with nearly 40 000 square meters of office space.

Just noticed that in the rendering they have an old looking building in the South Bow property. It is also different in each rendering, as one looks like it has balconies.

Yeah it's supposed to be a stand-in, probably just a massing of the York Hotel, what was there before.
