It shows the result of having every building in an area be a 'look at me' tower and not having any true filler buildings for them to play off of. I think if you are going to have a cluster of 5 or 7 interestingly shaped towers like this, they should relate to each other in color like the WTC will once completed.

I think it would be quite boring to have nothing but grey blue towers everywhere, especially with moscow's largely grey skies. The Mercury Tower always brightens up the skyline with its reddish colour.
the OKO Towers will have pretty simple designs, though.

This is shaping up to be my favorite tower in the new CBD. It will be an icon just like RBC Plaza in Toronto. The interior design is also pretty damn cool.

RBC is a bit more understated and tasteful.

RBC is an absolute beaut. Although I do like this Mercury City Tower too, and (as I've said earlier in this thread) would love to see it in the Toronto skyline.

This is confusing. You do not put a "but" between complementing ideas, but rather contradictory ideas.

For example. Not the best looking building and it clearly can't complete with the Shard on looks.

Anyway, is there any word on tenants for this building? Or is Russia like China and the middle east who just don't worry about silly things like that?

I don't see this video posted. Please do watch - this is incredible and crazy at the same time.

EDIT: This YouTube-embedding does not seem to work, so here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3u6m6cSRT4

Eurasia.

SSP doesn't have a thread for it but it was pretty much started around the same time as the other towers. It was on hold for a while due to funding.

I think this tower would fit better in Las Vegas. It's garish and cheezy.

Cheezy with a zee/zed.

I don't think so.. but then I also don't think it belongs in Russia- however, orange glass looks crazy anywhere.

I quite like it. Really I like all the towers in the complex and think they would stand well alone anywhere else (and maybe stand out).

Maybe it looks better from the street?
