Why do i get the feeling the quebecois and newfies feel the same about trump?

Seriously there seems to be an underline theme of not really being phased about nationalistic rhetoric or is it just me?

Anytime I see something by SHH, Lio or Acajack, there seems to be a certain degree of scepticism.

I'm not saying we necessarily agree on the big picture but it seems odd that we both seem to have an ingrained lack of concern for his nationalism.

That's probably a bit true. But this is getting a bit ridiculous

Because if you really wish to find out how the average Quebecois thinks, then the canadian section of a skyscraper forum is THE reference point...

Thumbs down

thanks, feel free to create another thread the next time a banal thought about Trumps pops into your head.

I'm starting to think we need to put a limit on thread creation in the Canada subforum. At what point does this become trolling?

Right about now, I'd suspect.

I am genuinely interested if there is a difference in how we see nationalism in the country.

Quebec has had the block for decades, newfoundland has had danny williams.

People want to pretend like trump doesn't matter, and I 'm not asking about his policies, I'm asking about diverging views within canada itself.

There are enough threads on this subject that this one likely isn't warranted. Closed.
