The amount of heavy industrial complexes here is incredible. I have never seen so many power plants so close together before either!

Excellent! Also, TK has a plant in my city (rather, outside of it), so it's cool to see the headquarters. TK along with a couple other German companies have locations here so we have a small German population, and I gota say, I have a newfound love for spelt bread.

Düsseldorf really looks like a nice and wealthy city. Duisburg looks very industrialized. It is incredible with almost 20 big cities in such a small area!

The Ruhr is Germany's industrial heartland, largely due to its massive coal deposits (much like northern England). That's why it was bombed so heavily during WWII, aside from also being the point where Allied troops crossed the Rhine.
