i didn't realize that the forum software here doesn't resize images. apologies for the over-large jpgs!

here's two from this evening, using our roof as the takeoff and landing area. it was a bit too windy for really stable flight so i kept it short.

this part of the city is surprisingly dense from above. large units and small household sizes probably reduce the actual density a lot.

I can't stop looking at these. It's such a unique and dramatic perspective. Have you thought about flying over Jackson Square? That's one of my favorite areas and I would love to see it from above. Perhaps you could take off from Walton park?

here's some stuff from the last few months. haven't had much time for this, so most of these are the same general vantage point, with different qualities of lighting and so on.

Awesome pics as always. The last set shows the city nearly abandoned!

These two "mirrored glass" style towers in the center look amazing.

This is probably the only thread I have seen that actually shows SF's density. The skyline is good, but the built neighborhoods all around are a beautiful rarity in the US.

seriously! as much as i like the hustle + bustle of the city, it was pretty cool to have parts of it to myself for a few hours. lol.

i took the opportunity to make some shots from places that would otherwise be too crowded for safe take-off and landing. dogs + lookiloos + "drones" = :nono:

it's legal...................for now. We had one follow us on the Larkspur Ferry from about Alcatraz to the Ferry Building. Very strange indeed. A while ago, one crashed on the road deck of the Golden Gate Bridge
