Arrow Fall 2016 in Philadelphia - My Return to Photography!

Fall 2016 in Philadelphia - August 13-December 30, 2016

Some of you may remember me from my frequent posting of photo threads in 2004-2008. I reached 2008 having spent 4 or 5 consecutive years in which most of my free time was spent on photography, but I had become somewhat bored by it. I took up several other hobbies during that time, including Colored Pencil Art, so since 2008 I have been taking photos only occasionally, and posting them online even less. But in August 2016, my love of photography started to reawaken, and it was in full swing by October, partially inspired by the purchase of a new macro lens (Canon 100 mm F2.8L).

Below are the results of my long-delayed return to photography, which involved about 20 different trips to take photos over the late part of 2016. I just moved from NJ to Philly a week ago, so there will be more photos on the way.

I hope you enjoy it!

Great set! I've enjoyed watching towers like the Comcast Technology Center and 500 Walnut rise through your lens over the past few months. Although, I think those early morning shots from the Cooper River are perhaps my favorite.

Yea I had been there. So glad to see Philly's skyline changing.

Philadelphia is a city worth revisiting and to visit for the third time.

I will go there years later.
