Both the article and the document referenced are posted just a few above yours. Both use the current 953 ft height, which isn't necessarily the top of the building as we know, but it is the only official number we have so far. Until we get a confirmed height, that's the reasonable height to use.

Is the buildings name now 155 West 57th Street or 155 West 57th Street. The diagrams say 155, this thread says 157 and CTBUH says 157 as well, Wikipedia 155. What is now correct???

They are both correct. The site encompasses a number of addresses, most filed at the buildings dept. under 157.

No idea. I wonder, that there are not much information in general. The only source I could find is the architects website and CTBUH, they say it will be 306 meters tall.

But no idea about renderings. We have to wait....

Does the developer ever have to release renderings in a case like this? Or is it possible we'd have to just wait until the building is built to find out what it will look like?

Since this project conforms to the preexisting zoning, the architectural design is not required to be released for review or approval.

We keep answering that, and the answer remains the same. No. Unless by "look" you mean will the tower have any setbacks.

That model is from a previous proposal at the site, before another couple of lots were merged into the development parcel. That is why it is out of date and doesn't represent the current development.

That is a design from a few years ago, we've often discussed it on this forum, and also in this very thread. That is NOT the design, however the current design will include setbacks. It won't rise straight up like the Trump World Tower, for example.

That old proposal looks like it was designed in 1988 (even though it wasn't). Hopefully Portzamparc's design will be futuristic and innovative.

No cranes on site, so it could be a while.

I am not positive whether it is really under-construction??
