I was thinking the same too.
Twinning TCH where there are only 2 lanes and removing all at-grade traffic-light intersections with overpasses or interchanges comes to mind.
(Imagine a 5136-km 4-lane freeway throughout Canada, longer than I-90 which is the longest US interstate.)
Then there's the extension (prolongement) of QC 138. (Was the area that it is slated to traverse hit by an asteroid back in the days??)
Immediately I see 1000 bridges right there.
Canada in general simply needs to stop being averse to infrastructural improvement.
I'm saying this because there seems to have been so many missed good opportunities for this.
