Very cool! I can't recall ever having seen any pictures of Boise's downtown area, but it looks really nice in your pictures.

There is a clean team ran by the Downtown Boise Association which keeps the downtown area nice and tidy and another group of peeps who take care of all of the planters and flowers/perennials.

This is a great & entertaining thread, it is always good to see Boise represented. This little city is one of the nations best kept secrets and certainly packs a punch. This is one city that justifies all of the Top 10 rankings it receives. Beautiful.

Thanks again everyone!

Boysee Boi, I hope to have a Sun Valley thread up soon. I am going to be there for a week later in September and will hopefully catch some fab fall colors when the Aspen's start changing.

Nice pics of a nice looking town.

Is it just me or is Boise a kind of liberal town? Nothing wrong with that by the way.

Boise has been described as a liberal island surrounded by a sea of conservatism. In my opinion there are good points with each mindset, both liberals and conservatives have good and bad aspects, depending on a persons viewpoint.
Compared to nearby cities we are more liberal than Salt Lake but more conservative than Portland.

Nice! Was there last summer, you did a good job of capturing the look and feel of the place.
