Poetically Perplexing Pittsburgh PA

Im currently making a book on Pittsburgh, waiting to get a full years worth of photos of Pittsburgh and the surrounding region, have 4 more months to go til its been a year. Heres what I have so far for my book that Im choosing from, enjoy. Some of this has been posted in previous threads, but oh well. Most of these photos were taken within a 100 mile radius of the city. Ive been to virtually every town and everything in between in this region, probably seen more of southwestern PA than people who've grown up here their whole lives.

Incredibly, there are people living in that old railroad inn in Apollo, I see them out on the balcony occasionally when I drive by.

P.S. the church like stricture "near scottsdale" is St Vincent College's main chapel in Latrobe, PA.

I really don't like that question, implying that the camera is the thing doing the photography. Anyone can take great photos with any camera, even an iPhone camera.

Sorry if I came off as an ass in this comment. It's just that a lot of the people I show my photos to say wow your camera takes great pictures. I don't know if that's what you were implying, but in any case I use a d700. A camera that came out in 2007.

Good luck with your book! I appreciate a lot the effort of taking pictures so much time. Of course, I agree with you, the camera is not the most important in photography, but talent.

Incredible work. I am a fan in particular, of your ultra-wide shots. You really know how to use that field of view to your advantage emphasizing a clear subject in your foreground.. just amazing composition and processing overall.

As a fellow photog, I am curious about which ultra-wide lens you are using. I've got a Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 (on a crop sensor) and I feel like yours are wider than what I can produce.
