That's true, I forgot I had already posted Curitiba. I just thought Rua XV de Novembro was a great example of a pedestrian street. I've only been there once, but I was impressed with amount of urban renewal there, esp. in the numerous parks and plazas and the extensive bus rapid transit system.

very true and they do take up a lot of time. however, there are many other reasons to do the threads. for family and friends to see, for example.
