The main CityCenter hotel is the Pelli tower with all the wings. The Mandarin is the one with the foundation taking shape. Vdara is the one that just got started. The steel structure in back is some sort of low rise building. Veer and the Harman and the mall and the convention center and another parking structure are still moving dirt around. I heard that in a few months there will be about twenty tower cranes operating on the site. I also just posted a couple pictures of the Cosmo next door in the Las Vegas compilation thread, they are starting to erect some tower cranes.

Could you please simplify that even more? I'm just trying to change their status on Emporis.com, and listing each tower and telling me their status, individually would be great.

Probably Mandarin Oriental should be the only one upgraded to "under construction" status at this time because concrete is pouring and pillars are starting to take shape. Vdara is drilling pilings in the ground, but nothing is taking shape yet. The Harmon, Veer Tower I and Veer Tower II are still just moving a lot of dirt around.

Vdara foundation is coming together fast. Can't see down in that hole, but that blue frame looks like they're starting to erect a tower crane.

The Mandarin foundation is taking shape fast, looks like they might start adding floors soon.

Fully erect tower crane just appeared on the Vdara site.

Some pics I took Friday and Saturday from the 34th floor of the Aladdin (excuse the glare).

Construction is going on 24 hours a day.

In the bottom pic, those towers look almost like a small version of the former WTC Twin Towers.

This is absolutely amazing and unbelievable. The scale of this project it beyond my comprehension, I guess it will become more clear and things progress.

I agree with others that the layout is kinda funky (jumble of skyscrapers), but I have faith for the people actually using the place (walking around it!), it will be very good.

Definitely on my to-do list when it is complete!

I just home the projects on the table here in Reno are recognised. Vegas is certainly on a roll.

New renderings.

Here's a peek inside the sales center where they have a model of the entire Strip.

Wow, thank you for the images, amazing stuff.

Does anyone know if there is info on the residential units online (floorplans and such) - I cannot find anything for any of the projects.

It will be interesting to tour the final project once it opens!

it would be cool to see some green space somewhere in there.

Only problem is it would just be an area people would run across to get INSIDE the complex.

However, an INDOOR green space of sorts (a large indoor plaza, maybe not literally plant life inside) would certainly be reasonable.

^that doesn't make any sense. if i'm going to a park its not going to be an inside park. isn't this a residential complex? where are they going to walk their dogs etc. I just think a green space makes sense just some grass and plants that all.

My point is this is on The Strip and I cannot see the city or the developer being too excited about 'wasting' (I say that from what they are thinking, not you or I) space when it could be used for more business related purposes.

But you are right, walking dogs and such would be a challenge with no parks.

Even on top of having a normal park, it would be cool to have a large, public, indoor plaza for people to meet and be the center of the complex (think of it like the lobby to the entire complex, just not one building).
