A few homes demolished recently across the street east of this complex where the parking lot is. Perhaps also owned by the builders for future development?

I'm hoping Medallion group has bought the empty lot on Dundas that was formerly slated for a 9s development that fell thru back in 2011. Given they have proven they can actually build things. When they finish the 3rd tower it would be great to see that lot get a nice high rise development.

Wonder why construction seems to have stalled? It's been 2 weeks and no progress has happened since the 5th floor went in. Did they have an accident and stop work order from MOL? Or run into labour issues? Money issues? Engineering issues?

All work has stopped. Not a good sign. Something significant must have occurred to stop construction like this.

There were 10 or so workers on site when I drove by at noon. Not doing anything but they were there.

Saw a couple of workers installing windows but its been 5 weeks since any concrete work has been done. Makes no sense at all unless some serious engineering problems have surfaced or some other problem. In this time that has past they would have likely added 2-3 additional floors.

Well after a 7 week hiatus on construction they finally restarted this week. Would love to hear what caused this delay. Legal, Money, Labour, Engineering...

Once again the work has stalled as they are still on the 8th floor since Dec.. They have had crews installing windows and internal services but the concrete pre-cast has stopped.

Something must be seriously wrong with the pre cast contractor part of this project.

They once again restarted building with precast walls finally going up this week on 8th floor. Hopefully it doesn't stall again.

Wow! Never realized how brown these buildings look, it already looks aged which isn't really a bad thing. I'm saying this in response to seeing the above link.
Now the third tower should hopefully be a more modern look, which isn't meant to discredit the work of the previous towers, which actually look fairly well done, but I'm not sure how white this concrete may be/ how well it'll interact with the glass for the windows and balconies.

A few properties to the south of the current building under construction were bought and parceled up by someone. It included a 2 story retail/office building and 2 houses on lyle st. between York and king. I know the developer of the high-rises has been buying up more property but not sure if its them for these pieces.

Maybe Medallion will also buy the empty corner on Dundas that had plans for a 10s building that fell thru. That lot and the one at Quebec and Dundas are just itching for some nice high rise towers.
