^ I'm surprised there's no ground floor retail requirement for that area. I guess a garage is slightly better than a surface lot, but would be detrimental to the pedestrian-friendliness of the area.

I agree! I don't mind the garage, but it would definitely be nice to have retail/restaurant space on the ground floor.

While I'd like to see a monument to Higgins, I'd love to see something to honor Jean Lafitte for his efforts in defending New Orleans during the Battle of New Orleans.

Lafitte Circle has a nice ring to it.
