Apparently they had to reorder the glass for those floors because the windows were too short. They ended up increasing the height slightly on the upper floors. That's just going off of hearsay from people on the site

If you look closely you can see extra small sections of spandrel (and glass?) above what looks like regular sized spandrel and glass on that topmost floor that is getting enclosed. So I wonder if they just went with what they had and added clerestory sections.

All that spandrel blocking what would otherwise be killer southern views.

Maybe that's why the Hendrix project in Edmonton is such a total fail. Almost zero windows on the only elevation with river valley views.

There's being green and then there's stupid. Welcome to stupid.

I'm hoping the balcony glass will be fritted to add banding to the tower.

Weird. So the top 5 floors are taller however 2 of those 5 floors are even taller and what's weird is that they are the 3rd and 4th floors from the top, you would think the very top would be the tallest floors

You're right, that's so weird. I'm so curious what that's about.

My guess:

5th floor down (taller portion) has a higher ceiling to accommodate a transfer floor for the change in floorplate for the penthouses above.

4th floor down (taller portion) is the high ceiling sub-penthouse.

3rd floor down (taller portion) is the high ceiling living floor of the penthouse.

2nd floor down (taller portion) is the lower ceiling bedroom floor of the penthouse (like Telus Garden)

Top floor (taller portion) is roof access - either for the penthouse (another bedroom level?) or building amenity?

They have special penthouse units on a rental building?
