I like how it looks about 200 ft taller than the WAMU in that picture, when in reality it's the other way around. However due to the crazy-ass hills, the tower may very well look that tall in real life from certain angles.

OK I just did a HUGE update of the first post in the thread. I also added as many links to project websites as I could find.

Awesome. Super work there Bond. I still haven't seen any pics of the Hotel 1000 since it was completed, in fact the last time a saw photo of it, the building hadn't even been topped off. Anybody have recent pics?

PS, you should add the the 1521 pic that's just a few posts up on this page to the others on the initial post--or maybe I should since that is my post.

I haven't seen any recent pics of it, but last time I was downtown, it was basically done.

Yeah I just noticed you did that. I was thinking of doing it when I was editing the post. Good idea.

The cosmo is pretty far along, about halfway I'd say.

Steel is rising above ground at 5th and Madison.

8th and Olive - ground work just started a few weeks ago, not much to brag about yet.

Great update on 1k. Thought I was going to get by there today, but got distracted on Capitol Hill.
I gotta learn how to loosen up. I think I'm missing opportunities...

Update on the Escala Tower (from today's Seattle Times).

Construction set for Escala tower

Seattle-based developer Lexas Cos. announced Wednesday that construction will begin this summer on Escala, a 30-story condominium and retail tower one block north of Westlake Center at Fourth and Virginia.

Valued in excess of $325 million, the 850,000-square-foot glass tower is expected to become the largest residential development in downtown Seattle. It includes eight levels of underground parking, two restaurants, a private club and 280 condominiums.

The condos range from 950-square-foot one-bedroom units to 16,000-square-foot penthouses. Prices start below $500,000 and top out above $4 million.

Bellevue's MulvannyG2 Architecture is the chief architect.

Most of us have seen it already, but I'll post it here anyways. Here's the latest 6th and Wall rendering:
