I don't see a perfectly clear hierarchy, it depends on how I look at the skyline / buildings.

1-2. Chicago, New York
3-4. Vancouver, Toronto
5. San Francisco
6. Philadelphia
7. Seattle
8-9-10. Minneapolis, Montreal, Calgary

I don't know if it counts, but Ciudad de Panamá would be around 4-5.

Here are my TOP TEN:

1. New York City - unbelievable density - more like a wall than a skyline

2. Chicago - a close second...

3. Toronto - height, density, and close to home too

4. Los Angeles - towering skyline in the land of fun & sun

5. Houston - great collection of skyscrapers in Texas

6. Seattle - reminds me of Toronto but with mountains

7. Dallas - another great collection of skyscrapers in Texas

8. Miami - growing fast, but too spread out for my taste

9. Calgary - very impressive for its size

10. Would be Vancouver, but I have to go for my home town of Kitchener...

Hey, I think I see something poking up from behind all those cookie cutter houses. Whoa! It's a "skyline"! :haha

Yeah, Vancouver has nothing on us.

Wow. This is an angle of LA's skyline that is never advertised in movies, tv show's, magazines, etc. I love this shot because I don't think that too many people would associate LA's skyline to a mountainous background with snow-covered peaked.
