DALLAS | 3700m | 230 ft / 70 m | 21 floors

3700M West Village wins Mixed-use Deal of the Year

Quote:
Denizens of the West Village neighborhood of Dallas’ Uptown are getting a place where they can live, work and shop without ever leaving the building.
Dubbed 3700M West Village, the $100 million project features a 21-story tower, a pair of five-story buildings, 381 apartment units and 37,000 square feet of retail space. Apartments will be situated on the upper floors of the three buildings, while the ground floors will have the retail area.

The addition of the project’s retail portion will mean that Cityplace will have nearly 267,500 square feet of retail in the West Village district, including the West Village mixed-use project. That development sits across the street from 3700M West Village and has 124,000 square feet of retail.
“Uptown is where the action is,” said Neal Sleeper, president of Cityplace. “It’s where the young singles and young families want to live. … It’s the mix of uses, which is important. You can shop, and you don’t need your car.”

I really like the final product, it accents the current buildings around it very well and adds some more life to the area
