Would love to see a skyline shot from the west. I bet this has a pretty sizeable impact. Now it just needs some neighbors!

Yes, I would love to see a cluster around this beauty...a few 1000 footers in the vicinity would be amazing!

^ That last shot is GREAT, with Aura's crown mimicking the roofline of City Hall. This one turned out beautifully.

^ I hadn't thought of the crown in that way before. Thanks for pointing out. I like the connotation.

I'm not sure if that was the intention, but the photographer clearly noticed it. If it wasn't intended, it's one of those really nice happy accidents.

One of the few buildings that would look better with a spiral, overall it came out better than I was expecting 7/10

I was in Toronto back in June, so these are old, but I am posting them nevertheless. I also have some more photos from street level, that I will likely post once they are online. I did like the looks of Aura in real life, although I cannot help to feel a bit underwhelmed after all the high expectations from the renderings. It's still a great addition to the area and very tall.

More my Toronto photos in here and in other threads.

For whatever reason I've never warmed up to this building. About the only thing I can say about it is that it's tall. I don't think it adds very much to the Toronto skyline and it seems to just lack character and finesse. I'm glad there are several new supertall residential proposals to get going in Toronto that will make this relatively average design fade a bit in prominence in the skyline.
