been underground for awhile, but I continue to see both anecdotal evidence and hard evidence that the inner city is growing stronger.

also, don't waste too much time thinking about where the major HQs are located. ya, it'd be nice to have them in DT, but we all know that centralization of employees has been declining in recent years and that the offsite/telecommuter trend is still growing. more than ever, people want to live near where it is they want to play/dine/shop/enculturate... so the burbs will still boom with folks who enjoy starry skies and out of the way cafes, but the inner city will be revitalized as LRT moves in and people (like us) seek to be close to the passion points in their lives (urban lifestyles)...

keep fighting the good fight.
