Another thing I noticed in Havana (and Cuba) is that Cuban people have nothing but good things to say about American people. As for the government, not so sure.

Wonderful tour!

Am I missing something though? Why are all of the cars there from the 1950's?

Man, that first picture I could have sworn was Rome or something. Amazing, I guess its a case of they were too poor to tear down their history and now its preserved. I hope when American tourism picks up that Havana will have a lot more money coming in to restore their historic city.

Cuba gets 2 million tourists per year (mostly Canadians, Europeans, Australians and people from other Latin American countries)

The terrible conditions of the buildings and the lack of funds to restore them is due to the trade embargo imposed by the US on Cuba

very nice tour, pallo. we're going on 50 years of an embargo now, complete madness. JFK was nice enough to order 1200 cuban cigars for himself before he made it such that people like me cannot. nice fella.

One of the worst parts about being an American is not being able to go to Cuba. It looks irresistibly beautiful

Thank You for teasing me with your beautiful photos! Seriously, great photos!
