People and Places of Europe (2004-2006)

Here is a small compilation of photos I've taken in 2004-2006 in the European cities I've been to and lived in. Calling it ”People and Places of Europe” might be exaggarating a bit, as only Central and Northern Europe represented, but we'll see how 2010 or 2015 edition of the thread will look like. The photos are an ecclectic mix of various subjects, but that's how Europe is.

Right now the following cities and towns are included: Helsinki, Jyväskylä, Liege, Brussels, London, Paris, Tallinn, Cologne, Aachen, Amsterdam, Delft, Den Haag and Maastricht

Photos were taken with Konica-Minolta Z2, Canon PowerShot S2 and Nikon D70.

Feedback and questions are more than welcome. Hope you like.

Fantastic.
The people shots are great, the others just as good and some really great light.
I really want to travel somewhere right now.

That aerial of Paris is from the top observation deck of the Eiffel Tower, right? I only made it as high as the second one. Makes me want to go back to Europe so bad. Great job, both with the photos and interlacing them together.

Absolutely Amazing!!!
While scrolling down I kept hoping there were more pics!

We need more threads like this one on the forum (we have a lot of quality photographers who put up amazing threads, but only the occasional one with pics from Europe).

Fantastic photos. I love looking at threads of European cities. They're so different from American cities.

^You beat me! HAHA.

You totally sold me on really wanting to go to Helsinki some day. It's not that I ever had a bad impression of it, just not quite like you showed!

These pictures are among the best that have graced SSP.
Your sense of composition is superb - I don't think any of us would mind if you did a part 2, or 3, or 4 of your works.
