I'd like to spend a few days in Houston/Galveston in mid-february, i hope that the weather will be fine

Spring can come early to the coastal area. If you were there in early March, everything would be green and the flowers would be out everywhere. Mid February is marginal, though. It can be very cold and rainy, or warm and sunny. You never know from year to year. This year is an El Nino year and so far in Houston it's been raining about 2 days each week, with alternating cold and mild. So far this year there's been no bitterly cold weather, just nice cool to mild temperatures most of the time.

I don't know why but this one struck me too. For some reason it reminds me of a King's X song. They're from Houston.
