Took a spin around downtown because I left the office early.

- Tower Crane going up for Biomed Building
- Mckinley court looks like its heading above ground
-Hopefully Aspirint and the Filmore will begin soon
- X Phoenix dirt lot
-Kennekt Getting rather tall
-NAC is topped out
-ASU dorm site cleared
-Alta Lumberyard has dirt moving
-3rd ave Jail looks almost done, this will be great when its full of workers
-Zoning hearing up for Park Central, my guess is for the Apartments/med school and Parking garage

Would totally do a photo tour but I dont have a nice Camera =(

Midtown/Downtown Development Tour

As promised earlier this month, here is my Month of my Apartment Development Tour of Phoenix. I may have missed some projects but I only took pictures of sites actively under construction or with progress not recently documented in the forum. (EDIT: I apologize for the monster sized pictures. Flickr is down and it was my first time using Imgur.)

One Camelback

Columbus on Central ( Fore)

Broadstone Osborn

Astor on Osborn

Portrait at Hance Park

The Link

Novel

Cambria Hotel - Since the webcam is down.

Native Communities Project

Kenect Phoenix - Only good angle I could get with all the one way streets.

McKinley on 2nd

Block 23

Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend everyone!

Thanks for the updates obadno--even if you don't have a camera it's super helpful to post updates for people like me that can benefit from all they can get.

From personal preference, I am 100% ok with and prefer fullsize photos--we can always zoom out in our browser to see the whole pic and the big size lets us catch detail.

It's very difficult on a phone. I posted my fair share of oversized photos, felt happy when I find out how to minimize then so I thought it was nice to share that trick

Biggus, Thanks for the tip! Photos are now normal sized. My plan is to do a photo tour of the main markets we cover every 3-6 months as things start moving.

Do we know whats going on at Jefferson and 7th ave? There appears to be some dirt moving like a construction site, I assume its something to do with county Gov (Sheriffs Dept or something)

I dont recall seeing anything about this but its fenced and some sort of lot work is taking place.

Yes SEC, I am dying to know what it could be as well! Looks like they are doing some utility relocation right now.

I figured it would be something court related as that quadrant of downtown is pretty much slated for Government buildings But I dont recall hearing about anything going there.

The open permits are only for landscaping, driveways, and abandonment of through ways. I'm sure if it's anything interesting you'll find out about it in an article.
