Haha! What a day for NYC supertalls. Very jealous here in Chicago..

I will go as well! Let's meet up in front at 545?

Link to image of me so you can reference - I'm 6'3 so can easily serve as the meet-up flagpost.

- First and foremost, we want a confirmed height.

- And then all the renderings available.

Sheesh, I check pretty much everyday for months and then I don't look for a few days and out nowhere a bunch of stuff all at once. At least I checked back in time for what is hopefully the final reveal.

Judging from this, the cantelever is in part due to shifting the massing of the main shaft of the tower as far east as possible, possibly to get a view corridore around 220 CPS?

The squareness of the base has me a little worried. I know it has to be squared at the base regardless, but it goes fairly high. I was hoping for one of those amazing curvy towers the architects showcase on their website.

I guess I just want it to be unique and a true landmark tower. A boring box would drive me crazy...

Good for you guys in NYC. Its kind of getting annoying seeing you guys getting these cool tall projects, while others aren't that lucky. But it should be super exciting, to see the full proposal!

OK, I'm ready to be updated. Who's at that meeting, and what's going on? I'm ready to make my decision on which design wins the day on 57th Street.

I was looking at that also. I expected the main tower to be shifted to one side or corner, but the cantilever was a surprise.

I'm very bearish on the community board approving that cantilever. I think they are going to be bitching and moaning enough already about the proposed height, so I think they'll do anything they can to slow this tower down
