Nice thread. I enjoyed your crowd shots. There are a lot a suburbs that are actually very pretty compared to what you presented, but there are also a lot like those. I guess that's the best some people can afford, and they're probably happy.

Especially liked the downtown shots.

It's been too long since you did a photo thread.

It was the old Foley's Department Store (1947), which later became Macy's.

It was where my Grandma took me many times when I was a kid. She bought me an airplane or car model in the toy department every time we would go there. One time, a guy snatched her purse at the front door and took off. The police found her purse but of course the valuables were gone. That was sometime in the 60s when downtown was full of people shopping.

I really like that first one. Powerlines aren't always horrible. And nice catch with downtown playing peek-a-boo in the last shot.

Took me a while to figure out where that pic was taken (looking toward the Kirby area). I recognize a relatively new residential highrise.
