This might be a stupid question, but is the tower behind Scotia Center FCCII, or City Center or some other project altogether?

Thanks for the nice compliments. It'll be interesting years from now to compare. I'm kinda curious as to what rendering(s) people like more. Looking over Stampede from the south has definitely gotten the most exposure, as well as the last picture.
I also created these, as a "what could have been" for Encana. 1 is the original proposed height of 68 storeys(?), 2 and 3 are slightly altered roofs. Personally I prefer the original proposed height, but I'll take what we have now in a pinch.

And this is looking down Centre Street, with the original proposed height and continued framework on top to increase height (some people had mentioned it had originally had some design elements on top).

These are just for fun.

the last one would have looked cool. The tapered roofs look like crap IMO, the flat roof works.

When I was in finance class this afternoon, I saw a guy on his laptop showing your new pano to his buddy. These renderings are everywhere.

That's great! I'm glad people like them, it generates some excitement for the average Calgarian who aren't skyscraper nuts like us.

That shot coming up centre street and seeing the Bow is really good. They are all great CtrlAltDel.

EDIT: The futuristic cars were an especially cool touch.

Rhat third renderring of the Bow with the framework, actually looks neet, looks like it belongs on the building! Plus it gives alittle more heght without throwing off any of those terrible shadows!! They could actually do that type of "top" another 40-50' and would be pretty impressive!

I got all of these emailed to me today, these renderings are becoming quite popular.

WOW Nice work! I actually do like the tapered ones, especially the third. Looks really cool, although I imagine that it would affect the panoramic views from the top.

I too dig the onle looking down centre street. I like that design element. Provides the illusion of height without stressing the shadow naziz
