That whole area around City Hall/Charity seems to me like the next space stuff will have to happen.

it definitely is especially since everywhere else basically has height limits of 5-8 floors with some exceptions but yeah downtown thats really it as far as anything over 10 floors goes unless right against the interstate in warehouse district...

its more a concept than a hotel but i like the way whyhotel threads the gap between apartments, short term rentals and hotel rooms.. basically being apartment building with hotel amenities and advertising on short term rental platforms as well

stayed at one of those in Cinncy last year... btw what do you mean we are still on radar for one of those?

A proposal has been made to open one here by a local hotelier. No contracts signed but has enough interest from c21 that they are not only considering going that route but also exploring a backup strategy to ensure they have something in progress here by 2020.

I would love to see us get a Mandarin Oriental and or St Regis at some point down the road. Very pleased with the arrival of a Four Seasons though.

Also I get a noise variance email from my condo about the WWII hotel just about once a week, so they're going full steam now. And the canopy is really looking great, will really add drama to the skyline.

I think if Four Seasons is a success we could see one of those two at some point.. i think years ago St Regis was planned for that surface parking lot next to Saks

Sorry if this has already been posted. I hadn't seen it until today. Starting November 4, Southwest Airlines will begin daily nonstop service from MSY to La Guardia. Departing MSY mid morning (seems to be 9-10:30 depending on day, departing LGA around 6). Pretty excited about that one.

It surely won't be Andaz, sadly. They've been trying for some time but no luck.

St. Regis has been searching the area. That's all I can say.
