I don't know the numbers but isn't the cooling tower of CTC also higher than the cooling tower of Comcast? If so CTC is taller by every measure even without the lantern...

Very good observation. I have no idea if Foster planned it that way, but one can definitely argue it is a Picasso-like abstraction of the Statue of Liberty.

I think that CITC is a great looking building, and fits well in the Philadelphia Skyline. While the technical definition of the roof of a building may place CITC above the original Comcast building, I would agree that the original Comcast Building's roof looks higher than CITC. I also agree with the people who would've rather seen ACC get built over CITC because imo, I really like the ACC design and height better than CITC, but I still am very happy with CITC and ended up liking it better than I thought!

According to the Skyscraper Center, the top of the highest occupied floor of the Comcast Center is at 875 feet. Not the very top floor with the 4 HVAC's

Hey Tall Cool One thanks for those pictures! They are fantastic. Recent construction has taken this city to a whole new level. I can't believe how awesome the skyline is now. You look at pictures from the early 80s and you just marvel at the transformation. We all should be so proud of this city.
