Smile NEW YORK | The Park | 1,712 FT / 522 M | 101 FLOORS

New tallest? I certainly hope so!

New Megatower coming to 57th Street

Quote:
It's clear that 57th Street is where it's at for really tall and skinny new buildings that are reshaping the Manhattan skyline. One57 and 432 Park Avenue are the most visible examples so far, SHoP's 111 West 57th and Extell's Nordstrom tower will follow, and they are all within four blocks.
Quote:
[...]
Curbed learned that there is another megatower in the making which will stand 1,712 feet and 101 stories tall, making it taller than Barnett's Nordstrom Tower and thus becoming the tallest building in the city (to roof). The tower's location is believed to be at 110 West 57th Street.
Quote:
[..] the property is being developed by a Chinese firm which already built several large towers in Shanghai, Beijing and other big Chinese cities.
Quote:
[...]the architect is still unknown although one could speculate that KPF is most likely to design the tower since it already designed several skyscrapers in China.
Preliminary rendering of "The Park"

Another one? How is anyone suppose to keep up? I do very much like the real 100+ floor count.

" 110 West 57th Street."

That would be a pretty big give away since the Steinway Tower is 111w.
