Good news, looks to me like they're starting construction, they've taken a lane of Queen Street and have construction fences ready to be installed:

why is the City dragging its feet on build permits?. Hamilton will lose out on this cycle of development for another 25 years if they don't capitalize on the economy now. It should be a priority now. Hamilton goes through building cycles. If a recession is coming it will be a long time before you see this kind of proposals and construction.

New fencing on the one side , seems kind of light duty for heavy construction, will look back at 20/22 to see what they used

This one still has me guessing. Gravel put down, a roller and a half skip along with a small pile of wood ..... we shall see !
