Excellent update ! (... and long overdue).
The progress on Hanoi Road is significant. Hard to tell about US7.

(kl)

The news said that the redevelopment of New World Center where in TST will restart in next year . The new hotel will have 50 -60 floor ^^

This one would be so prominet from the waterfront of the HK island that it has to be distinctive.
I hope it won't mimic the bland style of New World Center.

There used to be.
But it was removed when the international airport moved to the Lantau Island (I think that was in 1998).

But I remember a concept by HK government that doesnt allow tall buildings located directly at the harbor anymore. There were special highrise zones like West Kowloon afair.

They probably don't want to increase the density again.
The mega hotel in Wanchai may be the first victim of this policy.

Any news on that one btw ?

That's crazy. How - or more importantly why - do they have parking on the top levels?

To attract people to upper levels. The developer says that only 3 loops would be sufficient to drive up to upper levels.

The Mega Box is going to be a 19 story mall? Only in HK.
