The one on the right is the proposal for the redevelopment of Alexanderplatz.

Potsdamer Platz is the cluster of buildings on the bottom left of the image you posted, just below the Tiergarten.

That Alexanderplatz one will never come to pass.

Love the last shot of the Tiergarten looking east.

Love that new Hauptbahnhof they are building, I got off at it last year, and part of it is already up. Only problem is that I heard it won't be finished until 2020!

2020!

Now that's one slow construction. Maybe I read wrong, or it was a misprint - I certainly hope so.

2020?

It will be finished some days before the WC will start in the next year.

They cancelled it. Sad story, it was a really cool design.

Only problem is the fact that its quite literally in the middle of nowhere. It will be a crucial north-south + wes-east axis connection, but the business development that will be built is not required in a city that quite simply has far too much vacant office space. It should have been built in Mitte.

^ Yes finally!
The Berlin castle will be reconstructed on that place!
The Palace Facades will be Exclusively Financed by Donations. Costs between 360 and 800 million €
