Amazing reply, thanks! Yeah I am looking for a condo that is going to be built in two years, just for myself. Right now I am trying to pick between nuovo and tamarack wellington, as well as the not buying any option. I have a car and will be buying a parking space but I really do understand how some people really don't to have a car in these areas.

I like the vibe of hintonburg and the current and up and coming restaurants and businesses, and definitely the close proximity to many areas. Hintonburg feels like downtown but also more homey so that's a plus. It might be great for investment purposes as well.

Tamarack wellington looks amazing in my opinion. The quality is very good and it actually will be built on time unlike these high towers. I don't mind living in either a high rise or mid rise. With the tamarack I'd be looking at either the cheapest unit up on the highest floor (518 sq feet, looking north) or a terrace unit so I can actually have a large outdoor space (looking east). I am not sure if 518 sq ft is big enough. This would be my first apartment so it's hard to gauge.

As for nuovo I really like Little Italy as well, the units are cheaper, you can barbecue on any balcony, and it's very close to Dows Lake which is stunning in the summer. I also don't mind that it's closer to Landsdowne if I ever wanna catch a game one day.

I also work right near tamarack wellington, in the CH neighbourhood, so that is a big plus too (even though who knows what I could be doing in two years).

It's nice to hear the opinion of a young person about Hintonburg. Greatly appreciated!

Typing from iPad so hopefully I made sense.

Just got an email from Tamarack saying 25% of the suites have been sold in the first 8 weeks.

They are giving $1K referral each (to buyer and referrer) if you can bring in a buyer.
