A few Zilker Gardens shots

Had to work all weekend. My office is near Zilker Park, so on Sunday afternoon I took a break and decided to visit Zilker Gardens. Someone on this board mentioned that the view of the city was good, so I wanted to check it out.

Well, the view is good, but it's mostly obstructed. Couldn't really get a shot that I liked. But I ended taking other photos around the place. They're not skyscraper photos, I know, but I hope you don't mind.

Kind of disappointed in the paltry amount of flowers there. April showers are supposed to bring May flowers, right?

Great shots! Haven't been to the gardens since I was a kid. This one is amazing:

The great thing about the Zilker gardens is that there are enough elements throughout to make it interesting visually with or without the flowers. Thanks for sharing.

It's been a long while since I've been there. Thanks for posting those.
