The colors are very interestingly done. This is not only excellent photography, this is also excellent image editing. All of the photos look surreal--the colors literally pop out.

oh it's probably just alot of tweaking in contrast, saturation and pixel sharpening in photoshop. no biggie - i can do that.

I am not a professional, but from my own experience:
Pick a sunny/good weather day to take photos. Your photos will look good, even if your camera sucks.

^True, but things like composition are also very important and not something that can just be edited in as an afterthought.
I personally think these are the best photos I've ever seen of Tainan.

Edit- Tainan has about a week total of blue skies that are this deep. The photographer must have really been waiting.
