No, the glass is not the same as the examples you mentioned. It is near on the colour wheel, but not the same.

Copper Mirror finish. Your first example is
Bronze with a matt finish and the traditional Russian examples are different shades of
Gold. To many people with a very refined sense of colour/hue/tone or shade they are very different and evoke a different level of quality. Even if they are made of the finest of materials, a copper or bronze coloured covering will always look cheaper and gaudier compared to gold.
The best example of gold glass cladding is the Royal Bank Plaza in Toronto Canada. That is because there is almost 2500 ounces of pure gold used in the glazing, to give it it's colour.
