West Elm is the Williams-Sonama Co's hip furniture store.

W-S is also the parent of Pottery Barn and PB Kids.

here's a neat little building recently completed

The new Translation Research Building is the fifth of CFRI's buildings located on the grounds of the BC Women's and Children's hospitals.

I love their stores though

KORE, on Burrard & 3rd) now has glazing on the East side of the second and third floors.

AMINAT Architecture, on 7th near Granville, should be receiving it's front door shortly which will mean the exterior is basically complete.

I noticed that the windows on a whole bunch of storefronts on the block of West Broadway between Cambie and Yukon have been papered up (the north side of the street.

That stretch of W. Broadway between Main and Cambie is going to look very different in about 5 years, thanks to the Canada Line.

That building is larger than I thought it would be based on the DP application - hopefully it will spearhead even larger projects in the station area.
