Small country but very large on science . Some of the best science in the world is coming out of Israel today such as Weizmann Institute and University of Haifa . Taking my Granddaughter there next year.

^^ They've been harassed by housing shortage. It's been so bad that it put people in the streets, on protests cause real estate is so mad. The potential is big, no doubt.

Well no, but it may be one of the oldest cities in the world that still functions as a major city. Jericho I know is older and may be in fact the oldest city in the world. But, like other ancient cities of the world that are still inhabited, Jericho today is a rather insignificant small town.

The area the now comprises Israel has changed so much . A few decades back it used to be almost a big desert. Now it is a bustling, vibrant nation with a developed economy. Beautiful cities and towns. The region is also historically very rich. But some of this modern buildings are pretty old fashioned. They should try out different, unique architectural styles as is being implemented in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The cities will look even more beautiful .
By the way, is this a Synagogue? Forgive my ignorance.

That is the Bahá'í Garden, a main place for the Bahá'í faith.
